Let's be real - building HTML email templates is nobody's idea of a good time. We've all been there, fighting with table layouts and inline styles, testing across dozens of email clients, and wanting to throw our laptops out the window. That's exactly why we built Enveloope.

Enveloope is our new open-source React component that lets you create email templates with a simple drag-and-drop interface. No more wrestling with email HTML - just drop it into your React project and start building.

We're still putting the finishing touches on it (you know how it goes with v1.0), but we're pretty excited about what we've built so far:

The Good Stuff:

• A proper drag-and-drop interface that doesn't feel like it was built in 2010

• Mobile-responsive designs that actually work (we tested. A lot.)

• Live preview so you can see exactly what you're building

• Customizable styles that don't break when you look at them funny

• AI template generation when you're stuck staring at a blank canvas

• Import/export to both HTML and JSON (because flexibility matters)

The best part? Integration is dead simple. We built this thing to play nice with existing React projects because, let's face it, nobody wants to rewrite their entire frontend just to add email templates.

We're using it internally for our own projects, and while we're still ironing out some quirks (isn't everyone always?), we're getting close to a production-ready release. If you're interested in taking it for a spin, check out our GitHub repo. We'd love to hear what you think!

Fair warning: this is still in beta, so maybe don't push it to prod just yet. But if you want to help us test it out or contribute, we're all ears. We're especially keen on feedback about the drag-and-drop experience and template generation.
